Well, I was checking my calendar and noticed that the last day to return the laptops I bought is in two weeks and I hadn't even opened one of them. I had set up my son's for the most part, but the other one was still sitting in the living room. So last night I started setting mine up like I had done his. It occurred to me what an
absolute disaster Windows 11 is. I have had so many people tell me how great it is, and I now disagree with them
100%.
So as I was looking around for tips and tricks to try and make it more manageable I found a page on Micro$oft's website that tells you how to downgrade from Win 11 to Win 10 on brand new laptop, and since I only did a couple of things last night and I could very easily just start over, I think I might give that a try. Before I do though, I'm going to call both Costco and Acer's tech support and make sure that doing that will not void the warranty.
I sure hope I can do it. If not, I found out how to make Windows 11 look and feel almost like Windows 10.
