Has anyone not had covid as far as you know?

Rare to see any masks around here. When you do you assume "hypochondriac" or "brainwashed" or "infectious risk" and just look away.

I have no doubt that some are in such poor health or have genetic and nutritional disorders that colds, flu, Covid, etc. are a real health threat to them.

But for others it's a fad, like a drummed up fear of gluten or drinking "nut milk" created in chemical plants.

Agree with you. Some people are like sheep and very subject to power of suggestion.

I know some coworkers who have had it, even lost a couple to it. They weren't vaxxed.

But anyone more so than those who fall under the spell of vaccine deniers and just ignore the judgement of experienced, educated specialists. They more resemble the lemmings rushing to their peril as if they had no better ability to reason.

You just now admitted you have no ability to reason, as you rely on the "judgement" of others.
People who blindly rely on the "judgement" of others are the lemmings, not those us who think for ourselves.

It is sad that so many people don't have the capacity to think for themselves, but instead they mindlessly
absorb and obey the dictates of evil others, while blinding their eyes to the inevitable outcomes that are easy to see.

At least it is for those of us, who think for ourselves.

There is nothing blind about it. You have to understand credentials in order to decide whose judgement to trust in areas requiring specialized training. The days when one person could know everything are long gone and if you think a google search is the equivalent of an advanced degree no one should trust your judgement. The most important knowledge we can have concerns what it is we don't know. If you're deluded about that your 'knowledge' is a house of cards. On the other hand .. good luck, you'll need it.

I had a friend who died from a peanut allergy. When he told me how allergic he was, I kind of rolled my eyes. When he died within 10 minutes of having peanut oil that was substituted for avocado oil at a restaurant he ate at almost daily , I was stunned. Peanut allergies can be fatal.
 
I know 2 young men one is 21 ….fit and heathy and he’s got heart issue where he sees a cardiologist every 3 months / blood tests / ECG / and this has being going on since he had the first covid jab , he was not permitted to work without having the jab ..
My husband has got AF he never had in his life and has quite frequent attacks, the jury is still out if it’s a side effect of covid jabs .

Neither of us has ever had covid and don't want it …and I simply refuse to have any more jabs
 
I know many who have had Covid multiple times with or without shots and boosters. Others who claim they never had but from the very beginning some people had little or no symptoms

I think some want to take every shot available and that is fine for them. if people feel safer with mask that is for them to decide
others see it was not always the fix many tried to sell vax as.
Many more long term side effects from vaccines. Many are becoming clearer and NOT immediately dismissed. I feel sad for the many young people who will have heart conditions and some infertility issues all their life over this.

My recent experience makes me question things more.....
I went in for a sinus infection and DR of course offered a covid test ......not made me take one but offered a test....
then Dr said if i had Covid ( again) treatment was same cold medication and rest/ fluids.
I asked about the advertised medication for covid .. Dr told me we would need to do many kidney function tests to see if i could tolerate it and drug seems to have the same results as OTC cold medications..... risk was NOT worth the reward.

My question is why do they advertise ccovid medication (starts with PLAX.......) over and over, if now after time of use it is not showing results?
The doctor who basically talked me out of it before i had taken a test for covid.
 
anti virals do help many people though. They are showing results for at risk groups.

One of the reasons, along with vaccination, that the impact of Covid is lessening.

There are many medications which have to be altered, or in some cases cannot be given, to people with poor renal function, that is certainly not a thing unique to covid or flu anti virals.
not sure what Dr meant by 'many kidney function tests' - if you need to know patients kidney function (egfr) it is easily ascertained by one simple blood test, result back within half a day.

why they are advertised I cannot answer - since no prescription medications are advertised in Australia
