Okay, I found this online: Georgia is a country in the Caucasus of southwestern Asia, on the eastern shore of the Black Sea; population 3,800,000; languages, Georgian (official), Russian, and Armenian; capital, Tbilisi.

Not a state in the southern U.S.

So I'm assuming the restaurant in Toronto serves dishes derived from this country, correct?
Correct @JBR

Long-lost nephew chose this place to celebrate his birthday, which is today. I will have to save my opinion of the food, until later 🥣

It's also an architectural style
Long ago I'd heard of Georgia state, Georgia near Russia, and the several King Georges of England. I wasn't sure where the cuisine in the restaurant, which Pinky mentioned, had originated. Although maybe I should have guessed it wouldn't be from King George's court, since until recently England didn't have a wonderful reputation for cuisine.

My baby DG-GS turned 1 year old yesterday!

They had a family party today, but altho' my DS wanted to take me up to MA with him and DIL, I just don't feel so hot so I didn't go.

His mommy will be sending me pics. She called and told me about the party and that they got him a little haircut. DGS made a choco layer cake w/ whipped cream frosting.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, RR.

recovering from a blocked pipe - so taking it easy - although not in the nature of a capricorn so put a full load of washing on which is the easy bit and have now just hung it up to dry on the clothes line in the garage- [very large 50-60 feet high perhaps?) afraid to eat too much at present so just done another soup with asian explosives in it and will maybe have a snack later

- beautiful sunny day after our recent high level cyclone[not direct] but damaged tarmac roads so much that food trucks haven't been able to get through - and guess what we are at the end of the line! - still getting through now and by turdsday [my shopping day] should be full shelves again - they work quick!.

I haven’t actually priced eggs in weeks.. with all I’ve been hearing, eggs are off the menu for a while. Recipes with eggs get an immediate swipe…. Good thing I don’t have to mess with an egg hunt this Easter

Today has been semi-relaxed compared to the last couple days of working. I’ve knitted, had devotions, several cups tea/coffee, had my hair trimmed, put a book on hold at the library and picked up forms to renew my passport

The rest of today will feature some computer work, a quick trip to grocery store and visiting Ed. I might even wedge a nap in there somewhere.
Hi again. I realized I didn't finish what I had written about buying egg whites. I got distracted because I was also replying to @horseless carriage . Sometimes I wonder about me and this ADD brain! Here is what the reply should have read:
Surprisingly, I've found that I like egg whites in the carton. I get Kirkland (Costco) brand. I've even subbed it for chopped hard boiled egg in my broccoli salad when I was out of eggs. My son found a dozen eggs at Amazon Fresh for around $3.50 (another surprise). Next time he goes, if they are too much higher, I won't get them. I am going to tell him to get two cases of egg whites on his next Costco run though. Hopefully their price hasn't increased too much.

For the longest, Kirkland egg whites have been $10.69 for a case containing 6 cartons. That's the equivalent of paying $2 a dozen. Not long ago, whole eggs could be gotten for that price on sale, but sometimes I don't use them up fast enough. Out of the last 4 cartons of eggs I bought, I wound up throwing away 9 eggs (and yes, I did the egg in water test first). Prices are too high to waste like that now. Another reason I like using egg whites is that I'm a lazy cook and they are less of a hassle than cracking eggs, plus they're always readily available.

Today was another day on my new strange sleeping schedule. I fell asleep again after my son called at 5:45 a.m. to let me know he's okay and that he wanted to get to me before his very busy day at the conference. I didn't wake up again until almost noon. That put me behind in doing the laundry here in the apartment. I wanted to get started at least by 10, but I had to shower, wash my hair, make prayer, feed Deja and take meds while eating lunch.

While waiting until the shower curtain liner dried so I could set up my machines, I napped again. Then my BFF called, while talking with her, I tested my blood sugar, chatted a bit more about music stuff, but had to end the conversation because by then it was almost 5. It is now 10:45 and my clothes are drying. Yep....I took another nap after they finished washing. 😴

Wasn't sure I was going to spin and dry them tonight but I decided I had to get it done. At least it's a smaller load. I usually do two loads in my mini machines but today I only did one. I'll do two loads of light clothes tomorrow and one of whites on Monday. I also finally made my egg custard this evening. That was another thing...I had to wait until I finished that before starting the dryer because the air fryer-oven and dryer are on the same power strip. Best not to use them both at the same time.

Wow! That year has gone by quickly.

Hope you feel better soon, Joey...

I slipped up and almost forgot about my colonoscopy tomorrow. I have a house full of solid food but no broth, soup, tea. Waiting for the store to open. No way I can make it till Monday afternoon on just water.....lol. Anyone have any ideas?
OMg how could you have forgotten..that would have been playing on my mind for days prior.. and has been in the past

I think you can have a boiled egg and white toast for breafast but after that only clear liquids.. it's so they can see the results clearly...

I've been busy preparing for chemo therapy and radiation, plus all the appointments and stuff everywhere. Tons of things on my mind. Luckily I seen the solution I accidentally put in a closet.
