What's making you feel old today?

I went to a dispenserary and was told to place my order with a screen. Very much like a web page. I tried to navigate it but in the end I purchased the wrong thing, but I do think next time I will be ready.
Now this is new. Maybe 2 months old. Ordering with no human involvement is coming fast. I don't like it at all.
 
Old? Me? Making me feel old today? Well, let's see:

All of my lovers are passed. They were good guys and always wanted me to be theirs alone. I stayed single for a good while.

Money. I have more than enough now but it is no fun alone.

Not being able to care for a pet as I cannot do the things required, especially for a dog. My entire life was built around animals...not anymore.

There's more, but this is enough for now.

What about a very small dog from a rescue centre if you don’t feel able to have a puppy? They don’t ask much, just love & a warm knee to snuggle on. Dogs add so much to life & ask little in return.
 
Thanks for reminding me to take a pain pill before I start washing dishes for the Campbell Center. Wednesday, they serve lunch for 60 or more people, and then everyone plays Bingo while I wash the dishes and pans. I love doing it, and it is a miracle that I achieving this physical challenge. It is kind of like reaching the top of a mountain. However, if I don't take a pain pill, I will hurt a lot more than necessary.

Never pay attention to dates. Forget everyone's birthday, so time will stand still. 😂 Time is just a concept to make sure trains are where they should be.

I am quite sure you can improve your physical ability. Remember: Use it or lose it. Just start slow and build on that. Tell us how you are doing, so you don't get bored with walking up the steps by yourself and no one paying attention to your effort. When it comes to exercising, the biggest problem for me is getting bored and losing my motivation.

this is really what's stopping me getting a little dog. Coincidentally DD and I were just talking about this very thing today.. I said the dog could outlive me.or I could get too sick to care for it etc... and she said this is the thing mum, you have to be fully committed... and healthy to be able to look after a young dog...
