Is there any improvement in that cold/flu thing, that you and your husband have been fighting?πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ₯΄πŸ«€
I sure do hope so!

Hello, all!
Chilly but beautiful sunny day today. 🀩

Early morning was busy and stressful as the maintenance people came suddenly, to work on our bedroom, as we were getting ready to go out. πŸ˜πŸ™„πŸ«£
Husband to an appointment and myself to P.T.
And cat does not like visitors /intruders, either. πŸ˜ΌπŸ˜ΎπŸ™€

I managed to get everyone going in right directions and to get to p.t.... on time!☺️

The session was very worthwhile. πŸ₯³

Haven't gotten all of the laundry folded and put away yet,
But clean laundry is a positive thing, wherever it is located.😁

I hope your building maintenance people get their act together, and schedule appointments for "next time". Glad you were able to get to your doctors visits on time!

Kaila, I’ve had PT over the years and I swear those people are miracle workers. So glad it’s working for you.

I had to twist my husband’s arm to get him to go last week. Really I couldn’t twist it because it was too locked up. Now instead of doing the wrong things based on his self diagnosis, he’s thrilled to know what to do.

Thank you, and yes, I surely wish they would.
But the notices they give do not specify the day or time.:unsure:
Just a very wide margin of dates they might come.
This time it was an entire month!
o_O:oops::rolleyes::cautious:

And very often, the notice is very short in advance, such as a Friday evening notice, that inspectors will come, sometime in the next week or two, starting that Monday morning.:confused:

And they most often list hours between 8a.m and 4 or 5 p.m, to 'expect' them. This recently included work to be done in our bathroom.
Ugh.

They also inform us (by the 'notice' ) whether or not we must be home.:rolleyes:

Yet, we prefer to be home while someone is in our apartment.
It includes outside contractors, as well.

There is absolutely nothing allowed, as to giving our preferences for dates or times of day.

We dislike this aspect of living here;

But the pro's do outweigh the cons, so here we stay.

It's all so true; thanks for that additional input on the subject.

They are very educated about a great number of illnesses and conditions,
plus they know how to apply their advising, to the individual and to daily activities when at home.
I'm finding it more helpful than many of the doctors I've seen.
Very thankful I am, for this P.T. opportunity!

Good Morning, Kaila! Hope you have a good Saturday! It is supposed to rain here today and tomorrow. So will not be going outside. But the rain is a good sign...........April showers bring May flowers!
That's right here, too. It's a very cloudy morning but fine for a rest-day. Rain expected this afternoon and night and tomorrow, but that's okay with me, too.😊

Yes, it's a good sign that it is not ice or snow, and it's good for the springtime flowers and for the trees and wild birds, etc, etc!

Raining here too .. it washes away the salt and sad left over from winter.

Hope everyone is having a good day today.

A little posy for @Kaila πŸ’

Thank you for that posy!🀩
And you pointed out yet another good use of the rains, which seem to be widespread, if many of us are having them this weekend;πŸŒ§οΈβ˜”
The rain does wash away the salt and sand, left from the winter road treatments.

We used to see wild ducks here at this time of year, but haven't seen any as of yet.πŸ¦†πŸ¦†πŸ¦†πŸ¦†
We don't have the better conditions now, that they used to love, but I hope that a couple might stop by, anyway. I'm keeping an eye out for them.🧐

Sometime soon, will put out the hummingbird feeder, and hope to see some of those. They dont mind the cold and usually come early.

Do you ever see any hummers, in your area, Pinky?πŸ€“

Or anyone else's areas, in our thread group here?☺️

Good morning, Kaila! Here's breakfast for today... is it a tad unnerving that it's looking at you?

We unfortunately don't get hummingbirds, as we are in a condo. There are pigeons. They make a mess, but I like them. One time, a hawk was after them on the balcony. I shooed it away.

No hummingbirds in the UK, sadly. Plenty of ducks and geese though.

Here's a cheeky female mallard.

Hope you are doing okay, @Kaila, I've not been around much, just felt very weary/lethargic after the heavy cold I had. Doesn't help either that my computer and tablet are just about on their last legs. Must make an effort and get a new laptop fairly soon.

Good morning Kaila and Friends!

Oh my, Kaila, 3 falls? How awful for you.

Good that DH's labs were alright and you've got your tax filing under control. I am SO happy you feel your PT is fantastic!

So you had snow again.....we had rain and it's still raining. You're wise to stay inside.

@Pam, how is little Rocco?

Everyone, please enjoy the day! πŸ’• πŸ’•πŸ’•

Thank you @RadishRose for asking about Rocco. He's being very stubborn at the moment and refusing to walk any distance from the house, he just lies down and refuses to move. If my son and his partner take him out in the car to fields or beach etc then he'll happily walk and run but if they get his lead out to take him around the streets or to the nearby abbey then he hides under the table.:sneaky: When he's at my house, he doesn't run away and lets me put the lead on but will only walk to the end of the street then refuses to go any further. Oh well.... I'll keep trying...wish me luck.

Oh dear, something is bothering Rocco. What could it be? A smell, a cat...who knows. I do wish you luck. I love dogs and your boy is very cute. Hope he gets over it but he may not.πŸ–πŸ¦΄πŸ—

Hi all

Two days of rain here so far I hope you're all feeling well doing OK Kayla I am just thrilled you're having such a good experience with physical therapy you landed someplace very good .

I haven't been posting very much lately' my mouse died. I should get a delivery of one this evening it's not the batteries I tried the next door's batteries and my extra batteries and it's it's the mouse so I'm learning how to navigate using the touch pad and the down keys on my lap top in the up key it's very difficult for me.

i'm right handed and to make matters worse I have a neurological issue with my right hand and it affects part of my arm. I have an appointment on the 11th with a neurologist...... I don't want to talk about it too much but I'm gonna need surgery so for now it's been hard so I'm using my voice capability on my laptop and as I speak the words appear in the text box here. you can't have any background noise like the TV 'cause it'll pick that up too.

Have a wonderful Sunday my friends

It's good to see you stop by here, Pam.

I hope you will be able, very soon, to shake off those lingering symptoms you've been having.
Some things do take a while afterwards,
to regain our strength.

Also I'm sorry to hear that something is bothering Rocco, about taking his walks that were his usual ones. πŸ€”πŸ˜’πŸ˜•

Let us know, how that goes.

@Pam

I enjoyed seeing your local female mallard.

And thanks for telling me, because, If I knew, I'd forgotten that the u.k. does not have hummingbirds.

Thanks for working so hard, to post for us, here. It means a lot to me, and to others too, I'm sure. πŸ₯°

I hope that new mouse comes very soon, and that you like it and find it easy to use!

It sounds very difficult to use your computer with your hand and arm problem, in addition to the mouse.

We will be hoping that your doctor will have a good and helpful plan for you.

@RadishRose
It's been raining here too, since yesterday afternoon, and I think it's expected to continue through Tuesday.
That's kind of a long string of gray days.πŸ™„

Yesterday early, I went outdoors to try to get a bit of fresh air before the rains, even though it was already cloudy and cool.πŸ«£πŸ€—

But the'fresh air ' was so cold that I rushed back in. I hadn't worn wintery layers of clothing. 😬

Thanks again RR, for your efforts to post, and for being glad for me, that this p.t. seems promising for me.
