Perhaps this ad was during the later 19th Century where Coca-Cola contained a small amount of cocaine? That certainly would relieve "mental & physical exhaustion"...

Ha! Myron John looks like must have drunk several glasses of Blatz everyday for quite sometime. But yet he doesn't seem too happy about it...
I guess Blatz is still made today.
