Hey everyone! I'm back from a short road trip. Kaila, didn't you tell everyone I'd pick y'all up at your house?! I waited and waited... toot toot on the horn. No one came out. So I had to do a girl's road trip by myself. 🥺 Hope you're all doing well! I had a great time, by the way... the only time I can get away with eating peanut butter cookies and potato chips for lunch! 🤭

Good evening, everyone. Hairdresser came this morning to cut my hair, so that's me and Rocco both looking okay. ;) Grandson on early finish so he came round and we took 🐶 out together. Then youngest granddaughter came here after school, she'd had English Literature exam today, said it was 'fine'. Hard to believe that very soon she will be leaving school, doesn't seem five minutes since she was a baby!

And, that's it. Nothing very exciting as such but a pleasant day. Going to switch off now, sit down and watch some tele. 📺

This reminds me about the time we lived in St.Petersburg, FL near the beach. Often after work, we would take a long walk on the beach and stop at Baskin-Robbins for an ice cream. The owner knew us, as we frequently went there. She never gave me enough sprinkles nor hot fudge for my sundae. It drove me nuts! I would ask for more, ready to pay for the extra but she would say "Don't you think you had enough?".
After a few episodes, we ended up by going to Wendy's for a frosty instead! (And we bought our own sprinkles and chocolate to put in it!)

Though it's good that she didn't own a diner or a Howard Johnsons, where @hawkdon might go in, and ask for extra gravy for a baked potato, and be told, Don't you think you have enough?

It was only 48.2 degrees Celsius here today. Spring weather. Memorial Day WAS early this year. I hope you had a lovely weekend.
