Biden IS The Highest Ranking Catholic In Our Government

So it was reported on the news a while ago. Probably reported because of the Pope's visit.
Does cause me to wonder though, who the Highest Ranking Atheist in our government would be. How about Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian? What? No Jehovah Witness? Right now I could certainly vote for a nice Atheist with a solid and practical PLATFORM.

Biden has not been at all bashful about his Catholic faith. With the Pope's visit, doesn't surprise me that the fact of Biden being the highest ranking Catholic in our government is mentioned.

What does surprise me is how the far right is upset over this Pope. Faux Noise has been doing everything they can to cast barbs at him. I thought sure Hannity was actually trying for excommunication this afternoon. A few weeks ago, Hannity said he was offered tickets to see the Pope but turned them down because "something important might happen elsewhere and he needed to be ready to report it".
The right wing is against the Pope putting together the USA/Cuba arrangement. He is against capitalism, excessive wealth, believes in the Golden Rule... so many things that have been talking points for the conservatives.
JFK was a Catholic... and a Democrat. If the GOP drives a wedge between their politics and the 70 million Catholics in America, they're toast. No saying the Catholics will vote Democratic, but if they stay home and don't vote...........
