A spice..(for discussion)

I think people often use it for soups or marinades, or somtimes as a garnish. My cooking is too basic for doing that, so about the only spices I keep on hand are garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and paprika.

Never used coriander leaves. I used coriander in chopped format. Adding it toward the end of cooking. I see YouTube videos where people adding coriander leaves right at the beginning. I think they are just trying to be clever, as prolonged heat significantly reduces the flavour of coriander, so what's the point?
