I chose “Been There” because I have traveled extensively. Probably to some places where others would not want to go, like perhaps Cleveland. Just kidding, although Cleveland probably isn’t on anyone’s bucket list. The city has had a bad rep since the 60’s when it was called “The Mistake On the Lake.” It has made a comeback, but is still a dangerous city. They have also cleaned up the lake since dumping sewage into it.
I grew up in Cleveland and spent 1/3 of my life there, and besides all the things they write about it in the news, I have seen another side to it. I attended Case Western Reserve, played with the Cleveland Women's Orchestra, and helped at the Children's Hospital. I also worked at the Cleveland Clinic. I even performed experiments at NASA. So I know a lot about the place. I always wondered why they gave it a bad rap. Some of my most memories were there.

I have observed there are quite a few threads that are recycled under a similar heading – I don’t mind at all. If I decide to post on any thread, I will - it doesn’t matter if that particular thread has previously had one life here. Re my username: I pinched it from a children’s novel series.

Out of the clear blue sky... well also I had a Holly tree in the garden as well... but coincidentally it also happens to be my real initials..

People on the forum are always surprised when they learn my name isn't really Holly.. and can't get their head around my real name...when they learn it...

..but when I first joined this forum, I was still a Moderator on another forum.. and so I wanted a name that was completely different to that one....

Mine is my first initial and the first three letters of my surname. I'm not sure why I went with that because I almost always use the name of a classic ocean liner. So I usually have one in my avatar instead. (Today it's the Empress of Ireland.)

Holly is a kin of Eleanor of Aquitaine.
lol what have I missed...?..I think the only thing we have in common is that we were both born in a castle.. :D

She was the most powerful woman in 12th century Europe... and she lived a long life for someone from that period, given that she was born in 1122... she lived until she was 82 years old...

Knight depicted by a full moon & darkness just didn't seem logical. The avatar & name seem more of a fit.
