Love Harry Chapin! Saw him in concert in Central Park way back in the late 70's or early 80's. He died in 1982. Harry's opening act that evening was Tom Paxton.Harry Chapin's 'Circle'
It seems like I've been here before;
I can't remember when;
But I have this funny feeling;
That we'll all be together again.
No straight lines make up my life;
And all my roads have bends;
There's no clear-cut beginnings;
And so far no dead-ends.
I've loved this song from the very first time I heard it. Still brings the tears every single time. Touches deep. @KnightNo theme song, I feel the power of these words from the lyrics in the George Jones song.
A co-worker's son and daughter-in-law were both professional ballet dancers and I asked her what she thought of this movie and she said it was great; so I guess it was pretty accurate at least. I know I loved it and I think it was based on a true story too.I would like the orchestra to paly the opening to Swan Lake and then I would do a Grand Jete into the room.
This is Billy Elliot's character doing it on stage for his visiting father and brother, who had never wanted him to do such a "sissy" thing as ballet. These macho tough guys are moved to tears. (I love this scene.)
