Spirits, Moving and Me

So, most of you know about the spirit that lives in my place with me. It has been 6 yrs now and lately the activity had diminished or so I thought. I was putting a few cans of ginger ale in the fridge and I dropped one on the floor and it landed on its side. I decided to leave it there for awhile to let it calm down. I came back in later and was going to pick it up when it started to spin around on the floor so I said Stop! and it did. Then I said "spin again" and it did. It began to roll away and I told it to stop, and again it did.
Since then, a few things have been moved in the night and towels are dropping to the floor again. The knocks on my hallway entrance door have begun once more. But the best is the 225 yr old spinning wheel that I have in the living room will randomly start to 'spin' on its own, then stop.
I am weary of this but in a way I can relate to it all. Once again I play wih th thought of moving...but will I take the original spirit with me? If so, moving is senseless.
Just a worry/whine or whatever here but it feels good to vent. I'd be interested in what you all think would be right.
 

Did that already. Had a priest come in and use prayers and holy water. After that it got worse. A bit of the problem may be that I am an empath and a medium. I also think it may have come with me from the apt i moved from to come here 6 yrs ago. When I lived there I took pic of the place before I moved out for my records and this showed up. I didn't need to use the pics do I didn't see these until a few years later.

No such things as ghosts or poltergeist spirits, reevaluate the causes.
 
I know there are other people out there that can help to move spirits on ... shamans, Practitioners of Reiki & spiritual healers. Have you ever watched the show The Dead Files? They have contact information at the end of the show. The were some shows that the people having problems was told to use more than one type of individual. They also said that some of these people may be able to help someone who is a empath on how to control it. Just a thought.
 
Dusty i know this sounds ridiculous but you ever try talking to it? Acknowledge it's there and speak calmly and tell it what you want?

Funny you should mention Amy from the Dead Files....I was just talking to her yesterday.
 
On a number of occasions, I have 'seen' 'people' walking through my house. It's an old house and these 'people' were dressed as they would have been in the early days of this house - mid - late 1800's.
I put this down to Hypnopompic hallucinations, NOT ghosts, spirits etc... It doesn't trouble me. There is nothing 'spiritual' or religious about them.
