I've had one..... then got the flu... funny haven't had the flu since

Got mine last week. They do seem to help. I have gotten the flu on a year I had the shot, but it didn't affect me as bad as others in my house who didn't get the shot.

I've gotten the flu shot twice, followed by the flu.

I'm not getting one this year - not sure about the future.

To each their own - it's a somewhat controversial subject and I respect each individual's personal choice.

Last week, DH and I both got high dose flu shot in the right arm and covid shot in the left.

Yes, but my doctor says to wait until November. They expect flu to peak later this year for some reason.

I'll get the Covid shot later this week.

How do you feel about Flu shots?

Better than I feel about the flu. Have gotten one every year since I began teaching in 1990 and haven’t stopped in the ten years I’ve been retired.

I'm not sure if I've ever had the flu, but if I did, it was indistinguishable from a cold, so I don't get a shot.

Of course the flu isn’t the same every time either in how contagious or in how damaging it is. I figure no flu is good flu.

I got my flu shot Friday when I had my 6 months checkup Also I'm happy to report that most all my blood test showed improvement, lost some weight and no longer a prediabetic..

Never had a flu or COVID vaccination and I seldom get sick. I was in the pharmacy to pick up my glaucoma drops last week and there were people lined up at the vaccination kiosk.

I know people who've had your experience but I've never had any reaction to any vaccine and I've gotten the flu jab 35 straight years and Covid jabs every time one has become available. I can't recall the last time I've gotten the flu and I've never had Covid. It's almost like we're all individuals.
