Today Show host 84 year old mom is missing in Arizona-'concerning circumstances'

This case is very strange. First her kids tell us that she can't live more than 24 hours without her meds. Then they, for days, say they believe she is alive and will pay ransom upon proof of life. Did the "kidnappers" get her meds and have medical training? I don't think so.

I firmly believe that my medications are what keep me alive. I have a reason for this. One time, we could not afford health insurance for me for a year. The kids had CHIP, and my husband had insurance because he had to, according to him, because he was the breadwinner. He made far too much money for me to be on Medicaid. He just spent it all.

I was told not to lift more than 10 lbs. by my cardiologist. I sent my husband to buy clay cat litter (10 lb. bags) so I could put it on the ice in our parking area, so he wouldn't slip and fall trying to get into the house. He bought a 25 lb bag. I moved it from the cargo area of my car to the ground -- that took about 1.5 seconds.

I had a heart attack right away! I went into the house, and called 911. The dog, a collie, was instantly at my side, the kids came downstairs and I freaked out because the rug needed vacuuming, and the kids prevented me from getting up to do that. Well, I like my house to be presentable.

Anyway, so after that, I was pretty darn certain that the meds kept me alive. If I was to be kidnapped, then I'm pretty sure my kids would think that I would die without my meds, whether it is true or not. I think it is. Otherwise, why be on them? I have heart problems, vascular problems, kidney problems, high blood pressure problems. That does not sound like a recipe for life, unless one has meds.

Also, as far as believing she is alive, what else are the kids to have, besides hope and prayers? They sure don't want to believe she is dead.

I think the person on the camera was part of a burglary ring, probably cartel connected, and when they demanded she open her safe, she refused and they probably hit her and that blow in her medical condition caused a heart attack. Her drops of blood could have easily come from a busted lip or bloodied nose. They say she couldn't walk far and so far no sign of her walking out of her house, so I believe she was carried. If not dead then, then later.

I think all involved are connected to someone on the crew that roofed her house. They knew she was old, lived alone, didn't have a guard dog, and had money.
I think a contractor of some kind saw a criminal opportunity. Probably got a peak at jewelry box, noticed a safe etc. Or maybe she had a bank statement on a table or something hence the ransom demand. But ransom was an after thought especially if not showing proof of life.

I'm still unclear about the meds. If a planned kidnapping one would hope the kidnappers would account for that.

The gun in the picture indicates this was probably a home invasion gone bad.

Daily we see the media promoting a break through, only to find it is another rehashing of things published again and again. Hopefully, Mrs. Guthrie's family is provided better insight and shielded by the flood of unfounded speculation.

Now they have revealed that they're trying to "ping" Nancy's pacemaker. Unfortunately, that may lead the perps to take it out. 😒
It reminds me of when I lost my fitbit. I walked around the house and yard hoping it would connect.
It would be wonderful if they found her through that tech

yes. ...
It’s not for lack of trying .. in helicopters flying over the Tucson area trying with Blue Tooth, to pick up the signal on her pacemaker.

The amount of resources being used is unbelievable …….$$$$$

The last update we got over here is that 3 men were arrested.
Any updates?
I think that was Friday night ..old news. they were released.

They should have done that as soon as they knew she was abducted.
