Morning. Tired and sore this morning. The dates I picked for vacation didn't work cuz apparently someone else is off those days so she will suggest something else when I get there today. I called her cuz it's Friday and she usually leaves early and I wanted to tell her I had one day in there by accident. So I'm guessing it will be end of April or beginning of May? IDK, we'll see.

If she would've taken the time to open the book just to see what dates were available we could've had this fixed already on Wed. but nobody ever listens to me. And God forbid we do anything the easy way.

Having my coffee and doing my breathing treatment. Weather forecast for today is 91. Saturday is 94 and Sunday is 70. Then 59 on Monday when I'm off. Sinuses are bothering me cuz of the shifting weather so I will hafta keep rinsing them with my Neti Pot for a bit.

Last night I had 2 baked potatoes with diced ham, shredded cheese and french onion dip for supper. Pretty tasty!

This week 2 ppl got scammed out of money here in town. One was a 64 yo woman who got scammed into thinking she won a sweepstake. She was told on a facetime call where she couldn't see the person that she needed to pull money from her acct so people wouldn't come after her.

Then she went to various places all over town and purchased multiple green dot money pak cards and provided the caller with the numbers. After sending them $13K they asked her to purchase
4 iphones. It wasn't until then she decided it was a scam and called the police.

Then an 18 yo on facebook marketplace had a bad actor that scammed her out of over $400. She made contact with an individual who was interested in what she was selling and she provided them with her Venmo information. Then the suspect told her there was a hold on her account.

Then she subsequently received a text message from "Venmo Support" and they told her to send $250 via Chime. However she sent $210 via CashApp and was told she would be reimbursed through Bitcoin. She then asked them to send the money back and they did not comply. Then she called the police and was somehow out a total of $460. Just a reminder to be safe and not give out any info or money over the phone.

Unless you're paying a bill over the phone and know you're speaking to the institution you intended of course. These scammers are relentless.

I have two game apps on my phone plus a bunch of websites to do stuff on for free. Been playing stardew valley and pocket city on my phone.

I got a book checked out I need to start on while I eat my supper tonight at work.
