I comment a lot on posts on news sites. I know it's fruitless but it's my way to vent over circumstances I have no control over. In other words, I'm getting it off of my chest. Also, I like reading other peoples comments whether I agree with them or not.

It's out of control and no one with any clout is willing to challenge him. Don't forget putting the someone's name on the John F Kenndy Center for the Performing Arts in addition to JFKS name. Also, painting the National Mall Reflecting Pool Blue at I believe a cost of 6.9 million. I could go on and on. All of these millions going for someone's vanity projects with us the tax payers paying for it, not to mention the ballroom which I hear now we'll be paying for also.

To place a $920 million bet just 70 minutes before a peace announcement isn't 'good intuition'—it’s a smoking gun. If someone in the room is whispering to traders before the rest of the world (or the families of the people involved) knows what’s happening, that is a textbook crime. It’s the definition of crass to sit in a climate-controlled office and make $125 million in an hour off the back of war headlines.




The DOJ and the CFTC are currently investigating over $2.6 billion in these 'suspiciously timed' trades from March and April. It’s one thing to be a savvy investor; it’s another to use insider access to front-run the news.




As someone else mentioned here, it feels like a 'quagmire' of ethics. If our leaders or their staff are cashing in on the 'glow' before they even tell the public what's happening, they aren't just breaking the law—they’re betraying the trust of everyone they represent. I truly hope the authorities follow the money and prosecute whoever is behind this, because the motive here is clearly just greed, plain and simple.

Canada wants to know if we can move our country south of the equator to eascpe the Northern Hemisphere insanity? Most of us a fairly nice blokes and we have no guns.

Considering the endemic corruption in the current justice department, I'm expecting this statement to be released: "We’ve investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong."
