Hugs and Gifts
Twas Christmas morning and my grandkids gave to me...
The best little presents anyone could ever see...
Anna gave a hug and a peck on the cheek......
Tyler said “let me help grandpa you are getting a little weak?”....
Jasper said “let’s play a board game or two”...
Brandon sat beside me, we watched the super- man who flew...
Savannah brought some laughter and a smile from the heart...
Sam said “let me help with the Lego’s, I knew where to start...
Willow will draw a picture of a dog and a horse
Logan’s ready to play with hero guys of course...
Mia giggled loudly while doing summersaults of joy...
Drew was in the tree yelling, “Look I’m monkey boy”....
Alyvia came over and is a big help like every day...
Asher said, “big grandpa, let’s go outside and play”...
Gifts come wrapped in paper, some in a box real tall...
But a grandkid wrapped in a hug, is the greatest gift of all....
