For me, two things contribute to my inability to sleep. Low blood sugar and menopause. The chemical imbalances that causes have been a problems since pari-menopause. I haven't had a good night's sleep since then. I don't do drugs for it. They can destroy us in so many ways. Ambien made things worse. So some nights I have only two hours of disrupted sleep. At it's best I get six and a half, waking up every two hours. A lot of my relatives have the same problem.
