Well it's 2:30 am here in dark USA time. I'm just listening to Clapton. I hope you all enjoy your night or morning!! :sentimental:

I slept 4 hours and now up drinking Dr. P, playing solitaire and listening to Elvis and Conway. Almost time for the local news so will be back in a few hours. Good nite!

anyone up now? I woke up around 11 pm last night so that is why I am up now. I am listening to Soundscapes on Music Choice channel. They have these quotes that go with the lovely images. It's very relaxing.

Total night owl here. My body rhythm now demands late nights and late mornings. I can get up at o'dark thirty if I have to (catch a flight, get an early start on a trip) but .....

It suits us to a T. The Spousal Equivalent is just the opposite, to bed at 9:30 sharp and up at 6:00. This way I get the house to myself from 9:30 on and he gets the early mornings to himself. He has to watch the news for at least a couple of hours first thing in the morning and I can't think of a worse way to start the day. I can't face it in the a.m. If I'm up til 2 or 3 a.m., I roll out of bed anywhere between 8 and 9 a.m. I'm ready to hit the road running and he gives me the low down on what's happening in the news. He gets to watch the news without me snarling, "WHAT THE HELL? OH, NO, HE DIDN'T.......!!! YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!"

You're so funny Jujube! I hope to be up late nights still and probably will be tonight since I slept during the day and was up all last night.

I will be joining the Night Owls. I would love to converse with someone at 2 in the morning.

It's a lonely time.
Cool Camper! I should be here as well as others who have posted already. It can be a very lonely time for sure.

It is only 9:30 pm in New Jersey but I'll be awake until 2am I'm sure. I'm in the spare room that use to be my daughters room. I have my computer, and everything else to keep me happy. The hubby is in his own little world watching a recorded car race. I've got a book on my Kindle that I am reading, my coloring books are in easy reach, my new sewing machine to figure out so I'm good for hours. The ac is humming along so I am quite comfortable. Might go to the kitchen for a bowl of cereal in an hour or two. Night Owls can get very hungry.

Count me in,thyroid issues have come with bonus insomnia :(
I don't post an awful lot but I love reading this forum....
Interesting people and stories!!!

Hi Ruth. I am still up. It's almost 2 am. I just took my sleeping pill so should be up for a half hour or so yet. I just had some iced cinnamon buns and they were really good. Got them at the store yesterday. I don't usually buy many pastries but this caught my eyes and I got them. I was watching Shameless on Netflix. It is as the name says; Shameless for sure!

I have insomnia too caused by a head injury in a bad car accident. Can't sleep without a pill and then I have to be up late, too. It's nice to see you here!

Its 2 am here and I am drinking coke, eating orange slices, playing solitaire and checking in here. Kitty Wells is singing about Honky Tonk Angels on the old country channel and I will go back to bed in a little while and try to get another 3 hours in.

10 PM here in New Jersey and we have a tornado warning going on. It happens, but not very often. Right now lots of thunder and lightening and some rain. I'll not get any sleep until it's over. I probably should turn the computer off.

I hope you and hubby will be okay.

I just love thunder and lightning. I can fall asleep to it. In fact I have it on my tablet.

But the most peaceful sight is watching snow falling when there is no wind. It just seems to fall down one snowflake at a time.

Those are nice things sometimes. I like to watch the snow fall, too. We will probably have some before we know it.

OK, here I am.

It's 12:15 a.m., which isn't late for me.

I'm hungry and I'm eating leftover massaman curry. Why am I eating curry at midnight, you might ask? It's not my fault.....it was calling my name from the refrigerator and it sounded like it was lonely. I took it out to check on it and the next thing I knew, it had thrown itself in the microwave and had committed suttee. Ah, suicidal midnight curry.....the best. I'm enjoying it on the settee. And next up on the agenda are some oatmeal cookies that are just champing at the bit to make the ultimate sacrifice for my sake.

I'm so lucky.....

LOL on the self sacrificing curry and cookies.
We had tornado watches here in upstate NY most of the evening yesterday too, thankfully they never materialized, just some rain and a few boomers, didn't even disturb the kitties.

I have a hamburger calling me to make it one!! Hi y'all! Nice to see you all!:sentimental:
