You're so funny Jujube! I hope to be up late nights still and probably will be tonight since I slept during the day and was up all last night.Total night owl here. My body rhythm now demands late nights and late mornings. I can get up at o'dark thirty if I have to (catch a flight, get an early start on a trip) but .....
It suits us to a T. The Spousal Equivalent is just the opposite, to bed at 9:30 sharp and up at 6:00. This way I get the house to myself from 9:30 on and he gets the early mornings to himself. He has to watch the news for at least a couple of hours first thing in the morning and I can't think of a worse way to start the day. I can't face it in the a.m. If I'm up til 2 or 3 a.m., I roll out of bed anywhere between 8 and 9 a.m. I'm ready to hit the road running and he gives me the low down on what's happening in the news. He gets to watch the news without me snarling, "WHAT THE HELL? OH, NO, HE DIDN'T.......!!! YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!"
Cool Camper! I should be here as well as others who have posted already. It can be a very lonely time for sure.I will be joining the Night Owls. I would love to converse with someone at 2 in the morning.
It's a lonely time.
Hi Ruth. I am still up. It's almost 2 am. I just took my sleeping pill so should be up for a half hour or so yet. I just had some iced cinnamon buns and they were really good. Got them at the store yesterday. I don't usually buy many pastries but this caught my eyes and I got them. I was watching Shameless on Netflix. It is as the name says; Shameless for sure!It is only 9:30 pm in New Jersey but I'll be awake until 2am I'm sure. I'm in the spare room that use to be my daughters room. I have my computer, and everything else to keep me happy. The hubby is in his own little world watching a recorded car race. I've got a book on my Kindle that I am reading, my coloring books are in easy reach, my new sewing machine to figure out so I'm good for hours. The ac is humming along so I am quite comfortable. Might go to the kitchen for a bowl of cereal in an hour or two. Night Owls can get very hungry.
I have insomnia too caused by a head injury in a bad car accident. Can't sleep without a pill and then I have to be up late, too. It's nice to see you here!Count me in,thyroid issues have come with bonus insomnia
I don't post an awful lot but I love reading this forum....
Interesting people and stories!!!
I hope you and hubby will be okay.10 PM here in New Jersey and we have a tornado warning going on. It happens, but not very often. Right now lots of thunder and lightening and some rain. I'll not get any sleep until it's over. I probably should turn the computer off.

Those are nice things sometimes. I like to watch the snow fall, too. We will probably have some before we know it.I just love thunder and lightning. I can fall asleep to it. In fact I have it on my tablet.
But the most peaceful sight is watching snow falling when there is no wind. It just seems to fall down one snowflake at a time.
