Major Drug bust In Nebraska

Early this morning, in Nebraska, two Mexicans were arrested with enough Fentanyl to over-dose and kill 26 million people. It is said that Fentanyl is 60 times more powerful than heroin and 100 times more powerful than morphine. How much fentynal does it take to kill 26 million people ? Apparently, only 111 lbs.

Last year 58,000 Americans died of opioid over-doses.

And carfentanil...is stronger yet !

"How much fentynal does it take to kill 26 million people ?"

Apparently 26 million doses , one each.

I had never heard of carfantanil before. I just looked it up. It is 100 time more powerful than Fentynal which is 100 times more powerful than morphine. It is used by vets to put large animals, like an elephant, to sleep. A piece of carfantanil, the size of a grain of sand will kill a large adult man.

I'd cite more if I knew how to "cut and paste".

No, what you need to learn to do is post links to news references where you make otherwise unproven pronouncements such as these two people are Mexicans and it was in an MSM news story. It's rather suspicious when you just throw out stuff that we are just supposed to believe because you said it.

I report what I see on the evening news and on various news channels like MSN.com Which is, incidentally a very liberal organization. If you don't like what I say then don't read my posts. I assume people have the ability to do their own follow-up.

You have said, repeatedly, that you would have nothing further to do with me. I wish you would make up your mind. If you are trying to get attention, please know that I'm not a bit interested.

This article
https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo...braska-police-seize-record-amount-of-fentanyl
is dated May 25th.
It says;
they seized 118 pounds of pure fentanyl
they thought it was cocaine, until their crime laboratory confirmed the substance was entirely fentanyl (on May 24th)
Two milligrams is enough to be a lethal dose
A trooper became suspicious of criminal activity after stopping it and found a "false compartment" during a search

Yeah, I did some checking and I found out that only 2 mg. is enough to kill a lg man. An amount the size of an aspirin will kill several horses. They say that if a person breathes the dust it will also kill. Cops who open those pkgs must be very careful.

Wonderful, Traveler! Now that you know how to post links, you can post the link where it said those two guys were Mexicans. That will solve that argument really quickly. And then we can move on. :)

You often mention about what is the correct way to debate. Well, in a debate when there is a disagreement (and even where there is not) each side presents their evidence. There never is just going on someone's say so, or I heard, or I read. There is no proper debate where one says believe me because I said so.

My computer, or perhaps my lack of technical knowledge, prevents me from posting any citations (Web Addresses).
Photos and images are no problem, however.

There are some people who think they are pubic prosecutors (actually, persecutors) and they wish to stand their targets at attention, and force "proof" on every little minor point. To such people I say, "This man will not be pushed around". :hatlaugh1:

Perhaps when the drug dealer's come to trial, we will all have a much clearer view of who, and what they are. Surely, details will be on all major news outlets.

No problem. Just say that you don't wish to debate, just have opinions. That's a big difference.

When I was in 4th grade my step-father tried to "teach" me the multiplication tables.

He made up "flash cards" with the question on my side, and the answer on his side.

Whenever I missed a question he would smack me on my head with a heavy stick.

Soon, I was so rattled, I couldn't possibly have answered correctly.

I often missed the correct answer on 7 X 8 and 8 X 9.

Eventually my "mind" left my body and it went up in a corner of the ceiling. I could look down and see what was happening but I felt no more pain because I wasn't there any more.

Since those horrible weeks, I have steadfastly resisted would-be bullies who try to force me to answer questions.

At this point, even if I knew how to post citations, I wouldn't.

Force is in the eye of the beholder. No one is forcing anyone to have an opinion and if that person does so on a public conversation board, then to think that folks wouldn't have comments or questions is to not understand what a conversation board is all about.

But since you mention it, my dad, too, I remember trying to teach me something as a very young age and when I didn't have the right answer I would get a rap on my knuckles. No, I wasn't abused as you were, which is a very terrible thing, I understand that and I totally believe you. There is not much I remember from my young time, but that kind of thing you do remember. It's doesn't help any, but sometimes it does make some kind of sense to understand how a person comes to act that way. My dad was raised for a long time by a single mom with four kids, and when they misbehaved they would be tied to a tree overnight. I can hardly believe it myself, but it happens. I know you were severely beat, and I believe it. It shouldn't have happened and I can understand how it does affect you in how you think about things.

Olivia, I think in most cases of bullying, or parental violence toward children, a very little bit of investigation into their family history shows that the bullies were themselves victims of the same thing. And so it goes down through
generation after generation.

Thank God my parents were kind and loving. In fact, they thought the sun and the moon rose and set with me. It wasn't until years later that I learned that everyone doesn't have that kind of childhood.

To get back to the drug bust, although Snopes surprisingly doesn't have anything about it, I did find an article about it. The truck driver called attention to himself, as the truck was weaving all over the road, and driving on
the shoulder. Maybe he was sampling his own goods?
