What Is It? - #82

it tightens something I think, what would it tighten, ternicate? Can't speel it:(

DING! DING! DING!

We have a winna'!!!

nwlady has correctly identified this item as a tourniquet with a built-in tightening mechanism, this one being from Italy. You might just be able to make out the strap attached to the mechanism, and the "key" was used to wind the strap in until the desired pressure was achieved. A nice combination of medicine and art.

Congrats nwlady and thank you all for playing!

I can't believe I guessed it. I can't figure it really because you have to twist a tourniquet (thanks for the speeling lesson:playful:) You are way good at finding objects that are hard to figure:confused: Thank you for the "brain exercise" Phil!! Denise PS wonder what an antique brain exerciser might look like:eek1:

I knew I could count on you Phil, can I buy a few of these in bulk for christmas gifts this year?

Unfortunately they've been banned by the FDA as being "hazardous to your health". They recommend substituting some Lexapro or Prozac - no bad side-effects, ya' know ...

Can't understand why they would ban that device (fits in a pocket right) easy to exercise your brain anywhere you are, it's gotta be the pills will sell better:playful:
