Are Left-Handed People Quicker Thinkers Than Right-Handers?

I was left-handed until second grade, 1952. Have vivid memories of the teacher continually striking my knuckles whit a ruler until I began writing right-handed. Still throw left-handed though. For some reason, the school administration felt no need to correct me on the playground. Granted...

Article: Cancelled and Renewed TV Shows

Cancelled and renewed TC shows? Doesn't really matter. OTA TV is what we have here. These days it seems a 'series' consists of 5 or 6 episodes before it goes into re-runs or "look for the next season - 4 or 5 months from now". So cancelled or renewed TV shows? What does it matter? Good...

Do you have a favorite day of the week?

Monday for me. Weekend craziness in the neighborhood subsides and people go back to work or school. Never schedule anything on either a Monday or Friday. People are either too hung over from the weekend or too anticipating the weekend to do anything productive. -Arnold

Do you believe it's at all possible for dead loves ones to communicate with us?

Of course. Spring and Fall Linda visits me. Cancer took her in 2009. Sun's arc shines through the kitchen window and through prisms hanging in the window. Casts a rainbow of color on the floors, walls and down the hall. I feel her presence. Linda was always into multi-colors and it's her...

Have you ever been in a natural disaster?

Daily. Houston, Texas IS an ongoing natural disaster. At least that's the way it seems this year past. Drought, hail, tornado, 'drencho', flooding and now hurricane followed by persistent substantial rainfall. All right, already. New normal, I guess.

Olympics Opening Ceremonies...what do you think?

No interest in opening or closing ceremony for that matter. Events either. Like so many other things when big media and big money touches it becomes tarnished and loses its luster.

Anyone here impacted by Hurricane Beryl?

Oh yeah. 7days and 6hours without power. Save a power drop from a neighbor's generator that gave us a 12" oscillating fan in the kitchen. Estimating ~ $600-800 dollars USD replacement cost for food loss in the side-by-side fridge/freezer and the small freezer in the garage. Two fences down...

    Presidential debate tonight....will you watch?

Yeah, and a lot of others. Where is the stage full of prospective candidates for either party? Or for an independent party for that matter? Neither of these "Antique's Road Show" prospectives have been confirmed as representative candidates for the respective parties. So what gives? That's...
