I believe people need a yardstick to compare themselves with others. Therefore most embrace some concept of good and evil. It allows people to be better than someone else simply by a judgement call…rather than by action.

I am going to try to interject a little reason here. Rottweilers are some of the oldest breeds. They were bred for herding and protection. They are not a “pit” breed. And…when my son was two he was almost killed…by a Australian shepherd. Just sayin…

When a person chooses an assisted living facility it behooves them to ASK if the facility accepts Medicaid and how many months/years a person must be self pay before they qualify.

What struck me about this story was how far the child was able to get. An interesting note for those involved in search and rescue. Kids move fast

My last shot was in june of last year. I was waiting till the new shot came out to get another vaccination. This week we all have covid. While no-one is going to die…the vaccination would of been easier.

Back in about 1972 i started receiving a ss benefit because of my father’s age and me being a student. They gave me a lump sum and a monthly benefit. Then they figured out somehow they miscalculated the monies. So they reduced my benefit to about ten dollars a month to recoup. So yes…it happens.

Lenders have the taxes collected as part of the payment so the taxes get paid for sure. My current house has a three thousand dollar tax bill. Imagine coming up with that or even half that if money was tight. Banks do not like surprises

Many times the taxes and even insurance are part of the monthly payment and paid from the escrow account as they come due. It is possible that what they are referring to is that when a person sells a property the taxes are prorated to the date of the sale…and paid as part of the settlement costs.

I am talking k-12 public schools. Only new mexico and oklahoma rank lower. The irony of this is a huge semiconductor plant is being built by a foreign company state…they say bringing tons of jobs. But the company now says not enough qualified workers….well no crap Sherlock

I pay my taxes. And i do not quibble…but darn it my state ranks about 48th or so for schools in the nation…and that drives me friggin crazy…
