How do you feel about Flu shots?
I'm not sure if I've ever had the flu, but if I did, it was indistinguishable from a cold, so I don't get a shot.
I've gotten the flu shot twice, followed by the flu.
I'm not getting one this year - not sure about the future.
To each their own - it's a somewhat controversial subject and I respect each individual's personal choice.![]()

I got my flu shot Friday when I had my 6 months checkup Also I'm happy to report that most all my blood test showed improvement, lost some weight and no longer a prediabetic..![]()
Being a senior, I'm automatically given the high dose. No charge for regular or high does.I’m still debating paying extra for the high dose. Will decide at the end of the week.
One more thing checked off the "to do" list....mama and I got our flu shots a couple of hours ago.Was told by my doc several years ago to not get them too early because you want them to carry over into the new year...we'll get ours like we always do the week of Halloween.
The "flu" is an upper respiratory virus, and that's what the vaccine addresses.Got one last month. I've had decent luck with them, perhaps some people adapt to them better or not so good, Idk.
I hate vomiting and anything that sends me to the restroom every ten minutes!
Last time I got the flu, my eyes hurt so bad I wore dark sunglasses to watch television. For two or three days.
