This had a disturbingly familiar ring to it, reminiscent of the pandemic days when the extreme right wing was promoting the idea that China had deliberately infected the whole world with covid. I never heard of the California Globe before, which had the article (written in 2023) quoted in the first post. The paper claims to be nonpartisan, but just scanning the articles proves it to be anything but. It sounds like a right wing propaganda vehicle to me, and the article is 2 1/2 years old (China-engineered covid was still a big scare item then).
Any number of shady dealings could have been taking place in that facility, but this is a little too old and too one-sided to raise my blood pressure. I'm more concerned with isolated "facilities" containing innocent human beings, right now.
