I can't even imagine how F'd up it will be in another 50 years. I'm really glad I never had kids.

I feel sorry for anybody just starting out in life, The American Dream has been replaced by a nightmare. We don't agree politically with our kids, Old Hipster, and we wonder what it will be like when our grandkids get older....apparently the Constitution is ignored now; God has been pushed aside...what next.![]()
Sorry I can't help you there, about the article.I say this everyday, for so many reasons!
I can't get the article to fully load for me.
This is why I have a plan to escape ... to a warmer climate with no heating bills .... where I can live cheaper ... and better .... low real estate taxes ... low crime environment....
yes if you open your eyes and observe ... things are not getting better in the USA..... may its time to prepare for harder times coming....
I'm a realist and not a doom and gloomer.

Has something else replaced them ?The American Hospital Association says the country has 650 fewer emergency rooms than it did 20 years ago.
What would replace a hospital emergency centre?
About that God thing Jilly, have you asked him why the hell he just didn't have a word with the insects to stop eating the crops so we wouldn't have have felt the need to pepper them with toxic concoctions?? Just wonderin'
Yes the Bees dying is the most disturbing aspect and nobody seems to even worry about it.The bees are the big story, far and above all lifestyle change worries. They are the 'canary in the coal mine.' Without them the World, not just the US, won't last a year.
Bee keepers down here don't sleep well just thinking about it. It's hard to access new Queens here now as they're all being shipped to the US to replace dying hives.
We've so far not had the devastation to them that is occurring there, but any not aware of the danger, do a bit of research and worry deeply.
Just Google .. bees dying US... there's pages of stuff.
The latest thinking is that it springs from a pesticide that incorporated a nicotine ingredient to 'insect proof' plants. Did they forget that bees are insects?
There are also numerous parasites in bees now that other insects presumably dusted off in the past, before the insecticides took out the parasite eaters... and so it goes. We just get smarter 'n smarter don't we?
We have a lot of Urgent Care Clinics opening up, they are like regular Doctor's offices, but they are open 24 hours and you can go there if you have an emergency situation, or even just can't get into a Doctor someplace. The decline in the number of hospital emergency rooms is a big worry.
Has something else replaced them ?
