MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 13-year-old boy who crashed into five people Tuesday night while driving on his grandmother’s lap said his grandmother was giving him driving lessons at the time.

“I didn’t want to, but I ain’t had no choice, so she told me to sit in her lap, and I did,” 13-year-old Joseph said.

That's a grandmother who should have her drivers license revoked, for life, and charged with a half dozen violations. If her stupidity results in any deaths, or permanent disabilities, she should be charged with vehicular homicide, or sued into poverty.

None of these family members seem to be the brightest bulbs on the tree. For 13...the child's language skills are terrible. I just hope none of the people die from their injuries. I agree that the grandmother's license should be permanently revoked and she should spend a good bit of time behind bars.
