14 year old Girl Acid attack

Read a study back many years ago (many years ago), intercultural mixing had never been ever proven successful throughout history, and clearly up to 2024 in most countries it still never works. There were only ever 2 outcomes when mixing in large numbers...death or sterilization of the current culture, or replacement of the people!

Yet our wise politicians keep thinking they know better. Has any one of them ever asked the gen pop whether they want all the new immigrants? I was never asked.

Clearly its not working...

WTF?

I am livid, this happened in a school FFS!🤬

yep here in London in Westminster yesterday.. and a staff member and another boy was attacked but their ok... Fortunately attacks in our schools are rare thank God.. but they are happening more often... the little girls at the dance studio for example a few months ago..

At least they're not running around with guns...

Just as an aside this is a cheap online news show, where they get hysterical while reading the news... instead of reading it proffesionally...

This is just awful. Whether it be an attack with chemicals or guns or whatever when someone gets injured and especially when it is supposed to be in a safe environment like a school it is not right. It is quite concerning for the girl who got the acid thrown in her face as this will most likely change her life for good and also even for the boy and the staff member who were also injured.

Measures have to be stepped up in someway not only in my country, but in other parts of the world for these senseless attacks to stop. Children and staff need to be able to feel safe in a school environment.

we've been discussing this here for some years now and more and more we've come to believe especially with the shootings in the US on children by children, that it could eventually happen that children will have to be schooled via Zoom from home... after all how are they supposed to be kept safe.. how are they supposed to recruit new techers when there's a likelihood they'll die for simply trying to give children an education.... I know you know this only too well being a teacher yourself...

One of the most trying times of my teaching career was during Covid when I had to teach online. Now, I had to teach Kindergarten children so just keeping them still and engaged while on a screen was challenging enough. Though my colleagues who taught the 5th grade told me they had struggles as well. I would definitely not go that route with the Zoom. Plus parents would really have to be involved with their children's learning, especially with the younger students.

As for keeping the students and teachers safe there has to be other methods and I have heard of some radical inner city methods used where each school only uses one entrance and one exit and that has a metal detector with a security officer at that entrance at all times. I don't know if this is the way to go for all school and the cost would be quite a lot, but it could possibly work.

The problem though with that is students could still have weapons just outside of the school on the grounds and, I really have no idea how that could be remedied.

I’m a Yank so I may not use the proper terms but it seems that we have heard of acid attacks in the UK for many years.
Like we say if you take away the guns the evil people will use knives, clubs or anything else.
About time we stop concentrating on the type of weapon and start making an example of anyone who performs these kinds of senseless acts.
One thing that I have noticed about these school shooting here in the U.S. is that they are starting to hold parents responsible for the actions of these underaged shooters.

Just to point out this didn't happen in school, this was an acid attack on people outside of the school walking home by someone passing by on a motrobike... who threw the acid

The principal of Westminster Academy, Mrs Numera Anwar, shared a message as the school remains closed today.

Her message read: 'One pupil, a teacher and a member of the public have been injured in an incident outside the school building on the main road involving an acid-like corrosive substance.

The attack happened at around 4.40pm on Monday

Not true that we've had acid attacks in the UK for many years... 2 or 3 that I can recall.. and 2 of those were domestics...

I really hadn’t heard of that many lately but I remember maybe 5 years ago that we saw it stated that acid was becoming the weapon of choice and that thugs threw it in the face of people walking by before robbing them.
Some of those thugs could have been riding past on motor scooters. I don’t remember every detail.
I remember telling my wife that I would rather be shot than to have acid thrown in my face. That is so scary.
Don’t know why stories like that would be exaggerated but we probably get different news sources than you do about what kind of crime happens in your country.

I didn't look at George's link, but I can imagine.

What would cause such hatred, to want to ruin a person's life that way? And sometimes just to rob them for a few dollars. I can more easily understand the crimes of passion where someone might want to commit murder.

A few state representatives have tried to get funding to hire more teachers so their schools can reduce classroom sizes to 10 students or less per teacher. Then they tried 15 students or less, then 20 or less.

I think much smaller class sizes could work. Unfortunately, state governors aren't going for it.

"14 year old Girl Acid attack" Reminds me of a case where I used to live, a 15 year old girl was attacked, raped and doused with acid by her attacker- Jack Oscar King, in 1984. What a horrible act. He had a prior conviction for a sex crime for which he was castrated. That didn't work, they should have removed 'everything'.
