It's really coming down here .. wet snow. We were out earlier, and it wasn't too bad. Supposed to keep
coming down tomorrow.

If the weather report is correct, we will get more on Saturday, then Monday.

After all the warnings, the big storm predicted for yesterday kinda fizzled, at least in my locale. There were probably places that got it much worse. Overcast, mild for January, but gusty winds are kicking up.

Started out overcast. It it's now 10:30 am here and it looks to be clearing off. Gusty winds making it seem colder. Today and tomorrow predicted to be relatively mild, then a big cool down toward the end of the coming week.

just starting into the current winter weather pattern....temp 5*f wind 5mph gusts 6mph blowing snow. this will increase in severity over the next several hours. roads will ice up and snow will drift.yesterday there were a number of accidents on the interstate i-90 freeway.

A gorgeous day today! Temps held at 45ºF (7C) with plenty of sunshine. Tomorrow calls for rain.

Going to get cold now. High of 2F tomorrow. But no snow, and this cold weather makes for better traction on the roads.

As feared, our rain this weekend has mostly disappeared from the forecast. Might get a light sprinkling this afternoon and a little bit overnight, but that'll be it.

Our last rain was Jan 16th. We might get 1/4" in this baby storm, but there's nothing in the 10 day.

This is why California's drought related water restrictions aren't immediately lifted after a series of big storms. As happened last year, too often the pattern changes and we return to long periods of no precipitation.

Heavy snowfall. It's a Winter Wonderland out there today! Do not see more snow in the long-range
forecast .. however, that could always change.

We will have several days of sub-freezing temperatures this week....will not get above freezing until late into the week. We still have to get through February, but if the long range forecasts are correct, this will be the coldest week, so far, in 2023.

Cloudy and mild today as was yesterday, (for our winters)
and with our previous large snowfall having melted and did shrink down significantly now;
the next couple of days will see the sharp drop in temps, that some of the above posters are seeing, in other parts of northern USA, and Canada, as well.

it is now -18*f the wind has blown the snow and filled in all the divits made by stray cats, the local deer population, car tire tracks, and the occasional limb blown off a tree., It looks like the snow was just poured from a can, smooth as silk.
