2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

The San Francisco bay area has had the coldest wettest winter in my memory. We have been getting “Atmospheric Rivers” blowing in from the Pacific dumping their water on us. Combined with the cold, Mt Tamalpais has seen an unusual dusting of snow. As the “River” continues inland it has deposited huge quantities of snow on the Sierras. If that snow does a rapid melt, parts of the state are going to flood.

Colorado Low still has its’ butt parked here.
But…..
Did not get as much sNOw as forecasted……maybe about 4” so far.
We had everything yesterday…..rain, freezing rain, ice pellets, wet snow.
Temps were steady at 0c. Ice hanging everywhere……very hard walking out there…..guys having a hard time on their little feet, take one step, slide 2.
Got to -1c last nite…..up to 0c now.
The same is to continue for today.

Must be thankful.
We do not have HURRICANES……we do not have TORNADOES of any scale.

Its been raining most of today , stopped now but still overcast , 12c today , the wind as dropped which makes a difference

There is snow here. The idiots that have cars don't know that they should slow down due to the snow and the icy roads. So, they end up in the ditch. Wouldn't be surprised to learn that this "idiot" was starring at his smartphone while driving 110 km/hr on the icy road. This kind of driving is very common around here.
