2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Much more muggy today. I couldn't cool off the house lower than 74F last night. A few more days of oppressive summer weather, then a promised respite.

Our first day of what I call 'Hard Summer'! It will be 100+ temp. and 90+ humidity.....probably for the next couple of weeks....YECH!

I delivered meals today and in some places it was raining so hard it was like driving through a car wash. Got myself soaked at one stop. When I got back home, the sun was out...go figure. However, it looks like clouds are building again.

I am ecstatic because it's an overcast day! I have been suffering from withdrawal symptoms from this group for days, since my computer is located in my study, which is my small bedroom and it has been depressingly hot in here. I tried my tablets for communication but my fingers are getting too stiff for lengthy discourses! E-mails to my daughters was the best I could do! Yesterday was, depressingly, spent in an armchair in front of my TV, not knowing what I watched, dozing most of the time! Fan going full blast but not cooling anything. Come on fall!

And I am fully aware of the heat my brothers and sisters in the South are going through at the moment! My thoughts are with you and I hope that all of you have A/C! Compared to you, our weather is mild!

Near 90 with a dew point of 75. Down-South weather! This kind of weather puts a little positive spin on winter, although not enough to want a winter like the last one we had!

If you find large gaps in my responses during the next six weeks it's because of the heat. It drains me. If I weren't so old I would start looking for an apartment with A/C! Today is paradise! No sun for a change! Yay!!!
