Just short of 6 inches of rain in 18 hours. Glad I live on top of the hill. Storms wrecked a goot part of the county last night, with a lot of flooding and downed trees. Power was out here for almost 4 hours. At lest its a lot cooler, only 79 at almost 4 PM.

We are in a heat wave of 107 degrees for a few days. It is horrible. I have not been out of the house this week. Even had the groceries delivered.

Much cooler. I actually had to close a few windows. Moist outside, but hardly even a drizzle, just enough to make the deck and driveway look wet.
