2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Finally after 3 days the rain has stopped , and it's sunny and warm... 🌞 🌞 🌞 however everything is drenched outside, so it'll take uite a time for everything to dry up.

I've had the dehumidifiers on in the Barn and the Brick shed... for 2 days solid after the first day everything in the barn was wet through.... thankfully it kept both areas damp free... ..however after all that rain the garden was full of cobwebs so I've just been out brushing everything down , especially the Patio furniture... I read to think what it would be like if I left this house for month

Yesterday for part of the morning cold/rain on/off,then in the afternoon the sun came out high was 48
This morning on my early walk at 6:30 a tad nippy, 36 but no wind,it was refreshing
Today's forecast sunny temps in the 50's

Supposed to hit 80°F today, but by the end of the week, highs in the 30s and 40s and lows in the teens.
I'm not ready at all.
I still have things I need to do before winter hits and no time to do them.
My lazy "Son-in-law" is supposed to clean my gutters at the house in town, but as far as I know, he hasn't done it yet.

Cold and foggy, but by 9AM it lifted and now bright sun. Possible rain showers after 5PM.

Leaves falling faster now, so I'll be out there busy today. Just came in from a 1st pass at them.

It's nice and warm and a bit breezy here. Most of the trees have turned color, and there is a constant flow of leaves falling everywhere. We should have some much needed rain starting tomorrow and thru much of the week, before things get a bit chilly next week. I imagine that when things dry out again, I will have a yard ankle deep in leaves, and will be mulching them up with the riding mower, throughout November.

It got down in the 30sF last night. Good thing I covered the plants on the porch. A warm-up is forecast starting tomorrow, but eventually I will have to bite the bullet and bring in the houseplants that have been summering outdoors. I don't know where to put them all. Not as many windows in my new house and the plans have been reproducing, so I have a lot more than last year. I tried selling the new offshoots - not much serious interest.

frost was in last night's forecast. all my house plants were still outside. they had to fend for themselves. really have to get them cleaned up and brought inside before a killer frost comes along!
