2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

It's 57F here right now. The morning started what I'll call, "fresh". Meaning, it had a bi of a bite to it. But sitting here, with sun streaming through the window, it's not warm, it's HOT. I just had to move my arm because I heard it start to sizzle! :D

Another unseasonably warm day for late October in the northeast U.S. Right now 76F, however, after Saturday the temps will be in free-fall here. I can probably leave my plants out and cover them Saturday night, but Monday I'll have to bite the bullet and bring them in. Starting Monday night and thereafter, temps look to be in the 30sF. Too cools for delicate foliage even if covered.

I can't tell you how hard it's raining right now. It's more than torrential it's like a Monsoon.... at midnight .. so loud too..
There was a time when I described Biblical rain as persisting it down. Admittedly it does sound like a more vulgar way of describing heavy rainfall and when someone responded with, "did you say p*ss*ng it down?" I would answer, "perish the thought." The subsequent eye contact was enough to tell me that they didn't believe me. Would I be so vulgar? Anyway, to reinforce Holly's observance of the weather, it is, as someone once said, raining Heaven's hard.
