True. Our robins are much larger.
Even within a nation, birds can differ.
Ie: Canada geese are so much bigger than American geese that after the SULLY incident, airplanes were redesigned so the geese can’t get into the planes’ engines.

Very mild for mid-February for this area. Right now it's 50 F (10 C), but breezy which makes it seem cooler. Intermittent sun and clouds. Tomorrow's forecast says even a little warmer, but them back to the usual after Sunday.

Okay so I'm sitting here today enjoying the 59 degrees and thinking about 🌷🌷🌷 and spring. And THEN I get an email alert from the weather service with a warning of an impending storm for Monday/Tuesday... 5 to 8 inches. Well darn! I am *so* not amused right now. 😩

We have a flood warning for this evening into tomorrow and a risk of tornadoes tomorrow to go along with the flooding. Yawn. The weathernerds here call for this stuff so often than nobody pays attention anymore. Rain? Probably. Tornadoes? Who knows?

Much cooler than it's been the last several days, but seasonable. We're under a winter storm watch. Earlier today they said 4 to 6 inches here, but it's since been downgraded as the storm track has shifted. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow and I called the office about an hour ago. All they could tell me is they would let me know if the office was closed. Otherwise, it's my decision if I want to go or not - just call them and let them know if I'm not coming.

past week or so has been noticeably above normal temps. now forecast is for potential of a LOT of heavy/wet snow. my plans? watch the snow fall from inside and toasty.

Dull and overcast all day, but at least it's dry and very mild temperatures
