We have been really warm in the low 60’s. A huge storm is coming tomorrow through Saturday that could dump 8 feet of snow in Lake Tahoe and anywhere from 8”-2 feet in the valley. Winds will be strong up to 70 mph so hopefully no one loses their power.

The rain has ended and the day dawned bright and clear, but much colder. Overnight wind storm - I could hear it buffeting the house. There was a gust around 10pm that registered 53 MPH according to weatherunderground.

I had te,mp of 81 deg out, and turned the a/c on for awhile...
this old house gets hot quick in summer and cold quick in winter......there is no happy medium.....

We had mid-sixties today. We had a similar day a week ago. But, it is not really spring yet and the insects aren't out. Tonight I saw this frog sitting on the sidewalk under a street light. I feel so sorry for him because I don't think any bugs are going to come. Poor froggy!

It snowed for 3 days straight. We got a foot in the valley and the mountains got 5 feet. The mountains aren’t finished yet but I hope we are. Tomorrow will be my first day leaving the house for a while.

We had a really "big snow storm" over the weekend it dumped at least 20 cm (8 inches) of snow and blowing snow too. In Saskatoon I heard they received about 40 cm about 16 "!!! Had a neighbour clean my driveway with snow blower this morning, now have to go out and clean close to the house/garage door where the blower cannot get. And it's cold -18C. Strong wind from the West will start shortly. So more blowing snow!!!
