Hope you're feeling better! You know all I have to do to find what our weather will be like here today? is look at your report. I am in Rocheport...about 130 miles east of where you live. Do you live in suburbia? I have never been to Liberty...it looks like it could be near the airport...which I have been to a few times.

now weather weenies say it will be severe weather tonite, groan....

I really hope none of our members here are near Portage, MI... and Kalamazoo. There is a monster tornado on the ground in Portage right now, and a couple more around the same area. The second big one is near Athens, MI.

Right now we have a thunderstorm with heavy rain going through. North of us has had some tornadoes again go through with power outages, but no mention of serious damage. This was very close to to where they went through in March.
Update: Weather has passed. Weatherman said most of the tornadoes were in the farm areas. Lots of downed trees, poles & power lines in one town, but so far no report of injuries or deaths.

It is miserably hot here in Dallas. 95 degrees today with over 70% humidity. We are getting rain right now. Tomorrow will be pretty much the same, but Mother's Day weekend is supposed to be beautiful!
We tied a historical record today for heat. Our summer last year was so hot, I finally broke down and purchased a portable air conditioner. It is a "tower" unit that holds 2 1/2 gallons of water and comes with 4 ice packs. To get adequate air in the master bedroom the rest of our house has to be freezing.
