Today was 14 degrees and misty rain all day long. We still went for a lovely walk

Was only 18C as a high temp today with a mix of sun/cloud. It's been cooler & wetter so far this spring and the trees, gardens & lawns are lovin it! Everything's still nice and green so far.

A little scary. Chronic wasting disease or bovine tuberculosis or brucellosis or... ?

Doesn't look healthy to me at all. If I saw white-tailed deer that looked that way I'd be calling somebody.

It didn’t look healthy at all . Who would I call? It’s a deer at the side of the road. Most deers around here look healthier than that.
Who would you call if you were out for a walk and saw a deer like that?

How to report a sick deer in Michigan

If you see a deer that appears ill you should take note of the location and then reach out to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

You can click here to report a sick deer online or contact your local DNR office. If you make the report online you will be asked for personal information, details about the deer and you can upload photos if you took any.

Been doing one today. there are showers in the area, but, they keep missing us. Now, they say Thursday is the day we'll get a lot of rain... we'll see.

We haven't had any summer yet. It's been chilly (in the 50's/60's) and cloudy. Today, it was 46* when I got up at 6am. Yesterday, I even turned the furnace back on! Enough, already...I want some heat!
