My basement had 7" of water about 5 weeks ago. That's why I have contractors here now. They dug up my basement and installed a waterproof membrane and drainage pipe. They had to tear off my front porch and back deck to be able to get at the basement so they built
ones. The place is starting to look like a home again.

It’s currently 14 degrees Celsius or 57 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s supposed to go up to 16 degrees Celsius and there 65% chance of rain. I personally prefer the cooler weather. Some of the leaves are starting to change to.

We had a puff of wind, a squirt of rain, mean while north Florida was under water.
Right now it’s pouring out but should clear up later.

heartbreaking isn't it ?.. and many of these people have this happen to them on an annual basis ..or sometimes as often as when it rains very heavily.. could be a couple of times a year

High today of 70 with light rain & winds this morning. Winds & heavier rain from the storm arrived around 3pm. So far today we have had
1 3/4" rain with winds around 28 mph & gust up to 50. The winds will be slowing down around 8pm, but the rain will continue until midnight.

EDIT: The weatherman said we are in a Tropical Depression. Lots of power outages in the center & southern portion of the county.

It’s still warm here at 79 F but it’s very dark, dreary with intermittent rain.

Today was 15 degrees with isolated showers
When we left today it was raining but not where we walked and when we came back it was raining again. We saw two full rainbows on the way home from our walk. One was in the city

and one about 10 minutes from our house. The second rainbow was getting used as a backdrop to a wedding ceremony.

Hot. It's supposed to get up to over `100* for a few days again next week. Crazy weather.

Still getting rain today from the storm. Rain gauge since yesterday morning is up to 3". They were warning of potential flooding because we have been in a drought, but there has been a problem. We even don't have standing water where we usually have it. The ground is really dry, but it's still been able to soak it in.

Oh I wish they were dry heat, Tish... no they're humid for the most part...
