We had two days of overcast, low 60s before this. It was awful. Yes, am spoiled by our great weather.

It is 3* 5:39 am Couldn't get the Rv door to latch because we had the door open too long and the part that connects to the door frame got stuck inside the door this morning. I pried it out with a butter knife. Lesson learned do not leave door open in freezing temperatures. BTW the door was open to let the dogs in after doing their business outside.

We must have had a good amount of rain during the night. It also rained into the morning. But stopped and I went over to feed the ferals at my workplace about noon. The large gulch behind my workplace was really full of swift water like a river. It dries with no rain.

We have had a lot of rain lately and the ground is saturated. I went down in the basement and timed my sump pump, it's running about 430 times a day, I calculate that out to moving over 14,000 gals. of water a day. Hard to believe but promise it's true.

Unusually mild for late December here. 57F right now. All snow is gone, but there was a pelting rain shower a few minutes ago. It is also blustery.

Big "snowflakes" more like volcanic ashfall than snowflakes. Just ran out and caught the start of it out back. They almost look more like scratches on a photo or something.
