Cold brisk NW breeze, going colder too.

I just got done delivering meals yesterday an it started to snow - huge fluffy flakes. After that, I had to drive to and from the dentist in a virtual blizzard. I took some pics when I got home. Looks like 3 to 4 inches on the deck railing, but in the driveway, it just a accretion of frozen snow, probably melted a little then froze.

I have some work to do later 5" overnight. The driveway is hired out but I have an hour's work 2 or 3 times a week keeping walks and patio free of snow and useable.

It's warm and gross out though and raining at 1000' lower elevation, yuck!

It's about 21 with average to light snow. The roads are okay, light winds. I just walked back from the store. Not a problem, but yet the local news is acting like it's a major snow event with the usual warnings. They crack me up.

Seasonable at 25F. It was sunny for a while, but now clouds have rolled in. On and off snow showers (from lake effect) predicted.

We had a series of freezing rain and sleet all night, Everything is covered with nearly an inch of ice. Snow should be moving in soon, with 3 to 6 inches predicted, on top of the ice. The temperatures are predicted to stay in the teens and single digits all week. It will probably be mid week before we think of going anywhere. There are several power outages being reported....I just hope we miss that statistic.

Got up at 5:00 and the temp was 51°....we're at 23° now with a howling north wind but luckily no rain or snow is falling.

I was out at 2:00 and it was warm. No wind. Strange. But it sure changed.
