Right now it's 16° F on the frozen east coast. Wish I wouldn't have to go out this morning, but I do.

We're housebound. Between the layer of freezing rain, ice and snow that we got a few days ago, and about 5" of snow we got last night and this morning, going anywhere today is almost impossible. The county road grader hasn't been down our road yet, so just getting to the highway, even with our 4wd truck, could be a challenge. Luckily, we were able to get out yesterday and stock up on a few groceries, so we should be good for now. Hopefully, the temperatures will get above freezing over the weekend, for a few hours, and the county will get the road cleared. So, today, I'm just glued to the TV and computer, and may get out tomorrow to clear our driveway. CMON Spring!!!

Low overnight 33 again. Clear and blue skies, still. Is 45 now at 10:40 MT; will probably make it to 60-64 by noonish.

It hasn't been above 32 for two days. It rained in other areas of Atlanta yesterday but the snow remained here. I couldn't find my old boots and it is slick out there so I have someone scraping off my car for me. I hope I can get out tomorrow but I'm not going to push it. They don't treat the roads and there are hills and valleys.

Bright and sunny. More mild (but certainly not balmy) than it's been. Received about 2 inches if snow yesterday. Shoveled one path out the driveway. It's black asphalt - let the sun warm that and the rest of the snow will disappear.

It is 37F and cloudy now, but no snow/rain around...

Down to 30F last night. Cold clear starry night. Froze one birdie water dish solid (about 1" deep x 9" circle) other birdie water dish about half frozen, but that one was nearer the patio/house wall.

Today is now 10:50 MT and 44F; supposed to make it to 56F today; clear sunshiny winter blue skies.
