Extreme heat watch today. It will be well up in the 90's. I'm glad I don't have any plans to go outside.

Muggy right now, but even more heat on the way through Thursday. The weather is making me nuts. Not only well beyond my comfort level, but I have to lug cactus plants in an out. Cactus don't like to be wet. It's sunny and they're out on the deck, then it clouds over and starts to rain. I rush out and bring them inside, then the sun comes out and the process is repeated. And for my trouble, I usually get a needle in my hand.

It was in the high 90's (90F/32C), here today with a "real feel" of 105F/40.5C. I had to shorten Lucius' afternoon walk, keep him in the shade and his feet off the hot asphalt.

Right now (9PM ) it's 85°F and 'feels like' is 92°F. We have new A/C in the building so it's comfy cool.

I live fairly close to you, so I'm under the same gun. It's nice an cool in my basement, but there's nothing to do down there.

It's hot. Closed off a bedroom. Closed windows, put on both A/C's and two fans. It will cool off in here soon.

yeaaa.. fortunately our extreme heat has moved off.. and we're at 72 deg today...still feels sticky tho', and it was still very warm to sleep... but there's a little breeze and I have the windows open....

I am not doing any cooking that involves baking in this weather. When in the store Saturday, I got some ramen meals that can be prepared in the microwave and two bags of salad mix. There's also a peanut butter or cheese sandwich option and I also keep cereal on hand.

It's already 90ºF (32C) at 10:30 AM this morning. Suppose to hit 100º (37C) by noon. Heat index is awful.

The Northern Rockies and up into Montana are getting quite a bit of snow today and this past weekend. .. up to 18 inches has fallen there.
