That's what it is all about, helping each and not expecting anything but maybe a smile. So you end up making 2 lives better, their's and yours!
 
If only there were much more of this in the world.

Yes, I used to bring my crew breakfast from Chic Fil A sometimes in the morning. One morning when I drove up to get my order the attendant at the window handed me the bag and said it had been paid for by the woman ahead of me. It gave me a nice feeling all day.
 
Actually when people do this they improve more than just 2 lives. Studies have shown that anyone who sees them do it get the same benefit as the person doing it and the one who it was done for. We are all proof of that here.
 
I agree with all of the above. Most of the world is filled with normal, average human beings, who are capable of smiling, laughing, and saying 'bless you'.
Why do these threads all run together?

  7. The cop with the gas can - his fellow officers never let him forget that the vehicle was stolen.

  9. Spider note - as if such a childish non sequitur makes up for taking their space.
