I take more photos of old buildings than flowers mainly due to Australia being a dry country….and in many towns where councils would once plant annual gardens / flowers don’t bother anymore due to cost of water to maintain the gardens.I guess this is a town in the sense that property owners near by need a place pick up their mail? Living in a cracker box shaped warehouse myself I find it charming by comparison.

I'm Scottish, The thistle is our National flower..... but I have never seen Thistles as tall as these ....they must have been 6 feet tall.. and the flowers were at least 6 or 8 inches across

Pretty sure I posted the first blooms this year of my Brazilian Walking Iris but today I had to use my wife's phone to get these. I think her's works much better. There are two single blooms and one double which are back to back.
