This just came up on my phone and I liked the look. It’s a Clarkia or Farewell To Spring, a cultivar with “Ribbons” in the name. Taken in May a couple years back.

This is a Bilbergia, a bromeliad that doesn't form a cup to catch water which can actually be planted in the ground. But with these big colorful flower bracts hanging down it is better to plant them high. These replace the Agapetes I loved but could not satisfy in this location.
