From what I am reading a woman will set foot on the moon on the next trip. What if anything, should the woman leave on the Moon surface or should anything signifying the difference be an issue?
My mind goes several places with that question, so I'll leave it be.What if anything, should the woman leave on the Moon surface or should anything signifying the difference be an issue?
Women have supported the space programs in many very important positions since the 60's, why not a woman on the moon?
If you have not seen it, I suggest the movie Hidden Figures. It is about the African American women who worked for NASA in the 60's as mathematicians. I remember they were called "the computers" for some reason. I do remember a part in the movie where they touched on the women having to go to a different building to use the restroom as there was not a "black" one in their building.

Great movie.
Computer was how mathematicians were designated back then. I had an uncle who was a computer during WWII. In civilian life he worked for the Lands Department.
