Now that I am by myself at Christmas, I have to get my own gifts. At least I get what I want and can use - mainly snack items this year: candied ginger, dates, sesame cookies, apricots, licorice and Greek yogurt almonds.

the same as our last Thanksgiving dinner. We are only 6 because her relatives are in Asia and mine are in Europe. That's too far to join us.

Yesterday it was raining which means white mountains and flowers in the valley. But clouds are still covering the mountains, so
I am attaching an older picture to show what they would look like on Christmas Day without clouds.
