Alternative views on the Ukraine war

Wow! Is this abnormal in Russia? I am so accustom to seeing news of murder-suicide that I'm numbed.

Britain is planning to send tanks to Poland in a significant escalation of its military support so that Ukraine can then be supplied by the Polish government with Soviet-era T-72 tanks

The Nazis in Hitler's bunker committed murder suicide with their families because they knew that what was coming for them would be even worse. Putin's oligarchs are making the same assessment IMO.

There will be a massive purge in Russia in the not too distant future.

Putin has shown himself to be no genius when it comes to waging war. In the past he has gotten away with his land and power grabs and it would appear that this time the tide has gone out for him.

He stated purpose for annexing Crimea and attacking Ukraine was to have a buffer against NATO expanding right up to Russia's western border. His actions have had the opposite effect.

Finland and Sweden are in the process of formally seeking membership of NATO by mid 2022. Both countries share their eastern borders with Russia. NATO will be exactly where Putin did not want it to be.

I can hardly watch the war in Ukraine on tv, it's a catastrophe. I am surprised that there has not been attack on Putin's life, some in the forces will have be trained just for this purpose. Or is the threat of a nuclear war holding back an attack on Putin's life.?
